Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ASTRALOGIC iOS application ("ASTRALOGIC," "the Service," "we," "us," "our"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using ASTRALOGIC, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Apple End User License Agreement

Your use of ASTRALOGIC is also governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps licensed from the App Store, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula . Where these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA, Apple's EULA controls only with respect to the matters Apple's EULA addresses.

Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance, support, warranty, or legal claims relating to ASTRALOGIC; those obligations rest solely with us.

3. Subscription terms

ASTRALOGIC offers three auto-renewable subscription tiers:

3.1 Free trial

New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial on first signup. The trial begins when you select a subscription tier during onboarding. At the end of the trial, your chosen tier begins billing automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

3.2 Auto-renewal disclosure (Apple-required language)

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Apple ID account settings on your device after purchase (iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions).

3.3 Family Sharing

ASTRALOGIC subscriptions are tied to the purchasing Apple ID and are not shared via Apple's Family Sharing program. Your subscription grants access on devices signed in with your Apple ID only.

3.4 Price changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice delivered via in-app banner and email to your account email. Price changes apply to the next renewal period; you may cancel before the change takes effect.

4. Consumable purchases (à la carte AI reports)

Two consumable products are available in-app:

Consumable purchases are non-refundable after content delivery. If the AI generation fails to complete, the app will surface a "We owe you a [report/analysis]" notice and automatically retry; you will not be charged again. If the charge appears in your Apple account history but no content was delivered, contact [email protected] and we will investigate.

5. Age requirement

ASTRALOGIC is rated 16+ in the App Store. During signup, you must affirm that you are 17 years of age or older. The Service is not directed to users under 17. If you are under 17, do not use the Service.

6. AI-generated content disclaimer

ASTRALOGIC's horoscopes, synthesis essays, analysis reports, and Explain Yourself responses are generated by artificial intelligence systems (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT-4o) based on astronomical data you provide, your journal entries, and astrological conventions.

This content is for reflection and entertainment only.

ASTRALOGIC content is not a substitute for:

• Medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice.
• Legal, financial, or investment advice.
• Fertility, contraception, or reproductive health guidance.
• Any professional consultation with a licensed practitioner.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services. If you are in mental health crisis, contact a crisis hotline or a licensed professional. Do not rely on ASTRALOGIC content to make consequential life decisions.

Astrological traditions are cultural and interpretive frameworks, not scientific predictions. Use the Service accordingly.

7. Permitted use and prohibited conduct

You may use ASTRALOGIC for your own personal, non-commercial reflection. You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute ASTRALOGIC content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
• Use automated tools to scrape or mass-generate content.
• Use the Service to harass or harm others, or to generate content about a third party without their consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to ASTRALOGIC's systems or other users' accounts.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Intellectual property

ASTRALOGIC's source code, brand, visual design, chart rendering algorithms, prompt engineering, and Service architecture are our exclusive intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Content generated for you by the Service (your synthesis essay, your horoscopes, your analysis reports) is yours to keep and reference. You may quote or share your own generated content. You may not claim authorship of the underlying AI system or represent that ASTRALOGIC endorses any use of your generated content.

Your journal entries, birth data, and other information you enter belong to you. Our rights to process them are limited to what is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASTRALOGIC and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, unless Apple's standard EULA provides otherwise.

11. Termination

You may terminate your relationship with us at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms, for legal compliance reasons, or because we discontinue the Service. On termination, the sections of these Terms that by their nature survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, governing law) will continue to apply.

If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and a refund of any prepaid subscription time beyond the shutdown date.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by in-app banner at least 30 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
